Biography
[edit]I am a student at the University of Michigan studying psychology. I am from Detroit, Michigan. I attended Lakeview High School and graduated from Mercy High School in Farmington Hills, MI.
Research
[edit]I have conducted research for the University of Michigan's School of Public Health and Department of Psychology. The research for the School of Public Health focused on trajectories for women of color in the C-Suite of healthcare administration and how representative mentorship plays a role in that. The research for the Department of Psychology focused on media's effect on behavior specifically related to violence, dating preference, and self identification for different genders.
Awards
[edit]In January of 2018 I received the Central Campus Martin Luther King Jr. Spirit Award. In 2017 I was highlighted as one of 200 student leaders (out of 40,000 students) for the University of Michigan's Central Student Governments "200 for 200" bicentennial celebration.
