Hi!

You can call me "scatter". No, it doesn't stand for Wikipedia.

I'm a new Wikipedia editor (though I guess the accuracy of that depends on when you're reading this).

I'm a software engineer who is very passionate about open source, so really it was a matter of time before I got involved in Wikipedia.

I am non-binary and use they/them pronouns. I am a strong advocate of the use of generic "they" over constructions like "he or she", "he/she", etc., as they are non-inclusive of people who do not use one of those two pronouns. I will not go so far as to change existing articles, no matter how much I think WP:GENDER should be updated to recommend against it.
