Petition[edit]

In response to the shutdown, approximately 1,000 players signed a petition titled "Stop The Shutdown Of Don't Even Think," which sought to keep the game operational. Despite these efforts, the game was officially discontinued, with all online services ceasing as planned.[c]

Reception[edit]

Don't Even Think received "generally unfavorable" user reviews according to review aggregator Metacritic.[6] At the time of launch in North America, the game reached the #1 spot for Free To Play game downloads[7] as well as 600,000 registered players.[2]

Shortly after the game's launch in Japan, Ayuo Kawase in their coverage of the game for Automation Media noted the developers had mostly improved issues of performance in an update patch- involving matters such as frame rates.[8]
