Izinyoka entertainment

Izinyoka is a recording label in Namibia Windhoek. It was founded in the year 2003 by its Chief Executive Officer Mr Steven Gaeseb. The Izinyoka crew consists of the following artists such as D-jay, Ponti and Streetskidz, jericho, Wilbeforce Shihepo all very well known artists in Winhoek and surrounding areas. Even though Izinyokas career started in 2003. many did not know about it till 2010 when well know artist D-jay joinded the crew and 2011 when their album Cultural Revolution vol 1 was commercially released on 30 November 2011 at Mojo’s Lounge in Windhoek.

Career

Each of the artists in izinyoka contributed to the labels album in a united song called "party song". the crew also participated in creating three brand new music videos for the album Izinyoka Cultural Revolution Vol 1. Izinyoka also participates in charities for eg:they donated funiture to Dr Ellia Ngurare Pri-Primary School. Events and the The cultural project consist of R&B, Hip Hop, House, Damara Punch, Kwiku, Kwaito and of course traditional contemporary tracks. The label is well known for collaborating with international artists such as: Jozi, HHP, JR, Casper, Kay-Gee, Elvovo Derango, Teargas and many more. One of their artist, Jericho recently won Best Hip Hop artist and Male artist of the year (NAMAS). And was asked to donate donate N$ 20’000. 00 of the price money to charity.

Music Production, Event Mangagement, Izinyoka Mineral Water, Clothing, Izinyoka & Artist brand Accessories, Promotions,Charity & Awareness Campaigns. And is expected to do many more in the coming years.

Challenges

Izinyoka faced minor set backs over the years. Due to lack of discipline and bad publicity with the most recent reports being that of his attempted suicide the CEO of Izinyoka was forced to suspend one of their biggest stars, Jericho. But the news of their new friendship came about, unfortunately no new information was disclosed. And they also faced a dilemma with locally known Shakes has been fired for allegedly stealing money from Izinyoka t-shirt sales worth 10 000.
