User talk:194.25.80.243
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 194.25.80.243). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.
When you edit pages:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}}
in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. →Ollie (talk • contribs) 10:32, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Your edits to Barry Bonds
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. As a member of the Wikipedia community, I remind you of Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy for editors, which you appear to have violated at Barry Bonds. You must not add negative statements to a biography without sourcing them. Thank you.
Gender-neutral language and the Manual of Style
[edit]I have reverted your recent edit to Human spaceflight. Please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Gender-neutral language for our guidelines on this issue. Also, please note that it is a common courtesy among editors to discuss significant and/or controversial changes on an article's talk page before going ahead with them, and it is very strongly encouraged that you create an edit summary for your edits, especially for significant or controversial changes. Thirdly, please note that the introduction to the article Human spaceflight states that the term "manned spaceflight" is deprecated. Subsequent use of that term throughout the article is thus contradictory. When adding information to an article that conflicts with information already in the article, you are expected to cite a reliable source which shows that your information is more accurate. If you have any questions, please respond on my talk page or on the article's talk page. Thank you, — Swpbtalk.edits 17:35, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Your edit to Human spaceflight has been reverted again. I have explained to you that this change violates our consensus-based guidelines. Consider this a warning that behavior such as repeatedly violating consensus and making unhelpful edits is considered vandalism, and will result in you being blocked if it continues. — Swpbtalk.edits 22:22, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
