Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015–16 Armenian Premier League, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Artak Grigoryan. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ongoing vandalism by a sockpuppet on the Football Records in Spain page

[edit]

Hello Sir,

Kindly take a look at the disruptive editing of the user "2001:620:d:4ad2::323" who is removing sourced material after a consensus has been reached. Also take a look at his user history on Wikipedia where I have found him removing sourced material at will.

The "dispute" is ongoing on this Wikipedia page below:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Football_records_in_Spain&action=history

Here for instance he has removed correct sourced information for no reason that I had to correct.

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Derbi_barcelon%C3%AD&action=history

Here is his user history.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/2001:620:D:4AD2:0:0:0:323

He is a sockpuppet moreover. It obvious that he is a RM fan hellbent on disrupting data/information about FCB.

Please contact a moderator and help me spread the word.

Thanks in advance.

What do you mean?

I mean, we should not list all goalscorers, and just persistently adding them is disruptive. Standard is to show top 10. Qed237 (talk) 20:54, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ulisses FC

[edit]

Hi, Could you please help me explain the Ulisses FC situation in 2015–16 Armenian Premier League?

I do not speak Armenian or Russia so having hard time to understand some sources, and based on previous edits maybe you do?

What I have seen is that their matches are listed as CANC (cancelled) at Soccerway so I went to the other source for {{2015–16 Armenian Premier League table}} (ffa.am (Football Federation of Armenia) which has given Ulisses FC a 3–0 loss in todays match. The only article I can find on that page is in Armenian here (did not find any in English and did not try Russian) and I used google translate which was not easy to understand but sounds like their license was revoked, but why?

Trying to use google resulted in this claiming they dropped out due to cash shortage, while this suggests matchfixing which is also what I think the article I found in Armenian is talking about.

Could you help find some info? Why will they not play? Qed237 (talk) 23:04, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The club declared that it will not pariticipate in the remaining part of the championship because of financial reasons and The federation decided to award technical losses (0:3) in all their remaining games. The licence was revoked also. Կարեն Վարդանյան (talk) 23:17, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, so nothing about illegal gambling or betting? Qed237 (talk) 23:20, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why nothing? About it there was published in page Gagik Simonyan. Federation told that it was one of the reasins, but the basic rason are debts behind players, staff and state. Կարեն Վարդանյան (talk) 23:23, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thank you. What I meant was if it was not a reason for why they for why Ulisses wont play. I am not speeking Armenian or Romanian, but I am trying to write a note in the league table like in other leagues. For example a note on Latvia table says "On 3 June 2015, Gulbene were excluded from the top league and their results were expunged after suspicion of match-fixing" and in lithuania "On 25 August 2015, Kruoja Pakruojis withdrew from the 2015 A Lyga after repeated accusations of match-fixing and breach of fairplay regulations.[67] Since more than half of the matches had been played at the time of the withdrawal, the results from played matches are maintained and matches scheduled to take place after the withdrawal will be decided as 3–0 losses.[68]" Qed237 (talk) 23:29, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have any source saying all future matches will be 0:3? Qed237 (talk) 23:30, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Here you are. http://www.ffa.am/uploaded/2015/Ardzanagrutyun%2015-16-22-11.02.16.pdf Կարեն Վարդանյան (talk) 23:42, 2 March 2016 (UTC) It must be like this - "On 16 February 2015, Ulisses FC were excluded from the top league. Since more than half of the matches had been played at the time of the withdrawal, the matches scheduled to take place after the withdrawal will be decided as 3–0 losses."[reply]

Okay, thank you very much. You have been very helpful, and I will add the note and fix the table tomorrow. Now it will be interesting to see what will happen as UEFA has a rule about at least 8 teams in top division, so Armenia might not be allowed in Champions League and Europa League. Qed237 (talk) 00:19, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Our federeation says that there is no such a rule. Could you provide it? Կարեն Վարդանյան (talk) 00:24, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Have not searched to much, all I find is that Gibraltar expanded their league from 6 to 8 teams to comply with UEFA rules when they joined and got spots in Champions Leagua and Europa league. Also there is an unsourced statement about 8 teams at UEFA coefficient and info that Liechtenstein only has seven teams so only the cup winner plays European competition. Qed237 (talk) 10:27, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It is interesting. Կարեն Վարդանյան (talk) 11:25, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In case of technical loss must that 3 "goals" be added to technical winner team? Կարեն Վարդանյան (talk) 12:10, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
