You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Durin's Bane (2nd) for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. -Nard 19:25, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I know I was blocked because of an inappropriate username, but this is going too far! I do not know Durin's Bane! All I did was fix a mistake on his talk page!

Decline reason:

no evidence of good faith. No desire to contribute constructively. See below. — Jayron32.talk.contribs 04:39, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Could you, perhaps, explain why you decided to edit that user's talk page, to make that change? What drew you there? What was the sequence of events? Because it looks pretty suspicious, IMO. --Haemo (talk) 03:29, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, here's how it goes. It all started in mid-November 2006, when my school's IP address (202.76.162.34) was blocked. This happened around the same time Durin's Bane created that page about mountain giants and was so angry when it was deleted that he made a death threat and was blocked. He was blocked by Samuel Blanning, the same person who blocked 202.76.162.34. So I decided to attack Blanning's user page and talk page as revenge, and saw some attacks by a sockpuppet of Durin's Bane. I was so interested in these attacks that I went to Bane's talk page. Shortly after I created this account, I noticed that mistake I am talking about and fixed it. いちだ ぱねど (talk) 03:44, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So you've been quietly sitting in the shadows for about 13 months, just waiting and watching? That seems a bit of a stretch... – Luna Santin (talk) 04:03, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, you just said "I decided to attack Blanning's user page and talk page as revenge". And we are supposed assume that you are here for good purposes? I am inclined to deny this right now, since I see no evidence of a desire to edit wikipedia constructively. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 04:07, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
