Empty Article

[edit]

{{helpme}} There is an annoying fight between me and Administrator WHaworth, I want him to realize that the moving of Taichung Bus IS NOT proper, and I would like to search for someone able to improve the empty article Taichung Bus. Sincerely thanks a lot. 辛庚己戊 (talk) 17:17, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

According to the three proposal of RHaworth, I would like to choose Taichung Bus (company) as the new title for the company article.辛庚己戊 (talk) 17:06, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like you have had your question resolved, but I'll answer it anyway:
The page was moved because Taichung Bus can refer to more than one thing. For another example, Metro can refer to the D.C. subway system, a metropolitan area, or other things. We create pages called 'disambiguation' pages to help usesrs find the article they want when they search for Taichung Bus. You can feel free to create the article at the link you linked to, and then add it to the disambiguation page at Taichung Bus to help. Thanks! gwickwiretalkedits 21:51, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Using Wikipedia as a source

[edit]

As explained at Wikipedia:Verifiability#Wikipedia_and_sources_that_mirror_or_use_it, Wikipedia is not a reliable source and cannot be cited as a source or reference by any article, because it is an open wiki. You may link to related pages using normal links or interwiki links. Let me know if this is unclear. Dcoetzee 03:46, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Taichung City Bus, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Taoyuan County (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
