- You did force thirteen said Iota was a category 5 Laura was 155 mph 104.246.129.200 (talk) 00:48, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
- Please read WP:F13.--Jasper Deng (talk) 05:31, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
- I wanted Bonnie and Charley to be Category 3s 104.246.129.200 (talk) 18:46, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
- Well they weren't. It would be cool if they had been Category 3s, but we absolutely must abide by the relevant authorities (in this case, the National Hurricane Center) when we state the intensities of tropical cyclones. Treat the NHC's word as gospel. "Wanting" storms to be stronger than they were officially analyzed to have been is not an excuse to add falsehoods to articles. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Hurricane Hilary. Jasper Deng (talk) 00:40, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
- Why was hurricane Ian was a cat 5 it was 155 mph winds 104.246.129.200 (talk) 00:49, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
- Ian was retroactively upgraded as part of NHC's post-season review; see the tropical cyclone report. This doesn't explain why you saw it fit to fiddle with intensity numbers for other storms like Hilary.--Jasper Deng (talk) 05:30, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
