Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Stardust (2007 film). Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
The status quo was without the unnecessary and irrelevant NAVBOX. Objectively you should leave it out and User:Bartallen2 should WP:DISCUSS why it should be included. -- 109.76.142.42 (talk) 07:54, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The navbox does link to the film, which implies that it should be part of the article for the film. In any event, I'm not going to quibble about who "should" start the discussion, because it's immaterial. If anyone else edit wars over the navbox I'll give them the same warning I gave you. DonIago (talk) 16:18, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You're making a false assumption that any Navbox is required at all. WP:NAVBOX explicitly states that they are neither required nor prohibited. People keep adding Navboxes without seriously thinking about their relevance, and making decisions largely based on WP:OTHER STUFF EXISTS. I've other things to do but I will be bringing it to the Talk page. -- 109.76.142.42 (talk) 18:53, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to hear you'll be bringing it to the Talk page. That's a better place to discuss it than here, as other editors can weigh in more effectively. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 01:57, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
