[edit]

Hello! I see you reversed my change to the Starship Troopers (film) article, reinstating the claim that the film is based on an unrelated script. I'm not outright stating that this is false, but the only reference for this does not support it - please note that a link to the full article from the actual publisher has since been added: https://ascmag.com/articles/starship-troopers-interstellar-exterminators That article does not support this claim, and according the site it is the article as published back in 1997, not some sample. Could you please have a look, and maybe join at the talk page? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Starship_Troopers_(film)#Script_Origins? I don't want to turn this into an edit war, but as it stands it is hard to tell whether this is a serious claim or someone back in 2013 inserted it as a trolling attempt. I would be most happy to get some quote actually supporting the claim - maybe you have the original paper article?Elanguescence (talk) 18:00, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Talk:Doom (film) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!
