Happy editing! Jacona (talk) 22:13, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Jacona. I have tried to organize the section of "Further Reading" on the Western United States page. I created several new headings and added titles, largely from those listed under "Surveys and monographs." So now many of the titles under the new headings are duplicated under "Surveys and monographs." I would like to eliminate the duplication but how do I do that without appearing like I'm trying to vandalize the "Surveys and monographs" section? Thank you for any help you might offer. 134.124.27.102 (talk) 22:29, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To be perfectly frank, when an IP editor makes a LOT of edits in quick succession, it makes Wikipedians with long-time accounts nervous. It would help a LOT if you would go ahead and create an account. It seems like you're here to do a lot of wiki-work anyway. :) Stefen Towers among the rest! I get that. I can only imagine the crap that gets put on here. I'm a "specialist" in this field(s)--US frontier/West, which I know means nothing here, which is Wikipedia's great appeal. That said, I think Wikipedia is extremely important. I would simply like to beef up the further readings and bibliographies on a couple of pages and return from whence I came, hopefully leaving things slightly better than they were before. Sincerely. 134.124.27.102 (talk) 03:54, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
