A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Eaglestorm, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

G6—a dispute with a user does not constitute long-term abuse

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Hi 134340Goat, I've asked if Eaglestorm would mind explaining to you why they reverted your edits. However it seems they are have now gone offline so the best thing to do is just to wait until they come back. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 07:15, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message, it's probably going to be easier to keep things together so just reply to my messages here for the moment. I've taken Eaglestorm off the list at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User conduct/UsersList for now, as there are other steps which need to happen before an WP:RFC/U. For that reason I'm also going to move the user request for comment into your userspace so you still have it to reference and add it but so it won't be deleted as uncertified. It will be located at User:134340Goat/Eaglestorm. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 07:25, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough - it would probably be best to see this out in whole before any major decisions are made. Also, I think you may have made a typo with the link. 134340Goat (talk) 07:27, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The RFC/U you wrote is still in your userspace so if needed it can still be worked on. However at the moment it would be better to wait until Eaglestorm get back and tell you why he reverted your edit. If that doesn't work it can be taken further.
I know you probably felt provoked, but that isn't an excuse for incivility. "Honestly, I have dealt with more mature 12 year olds" could easily be called incivility. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 07:41, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
We all have our moments. I will admit that I had given into my frustrations at that point. My point still stands, however, that this user is also being uncivil, to a much further degree. And I did notice that they have gotten into trouble for the same thing in the past. 134340Goat (talk) 08:02, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is User:Eaglestorm. Thank you. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 12:28, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You need to stop making edits to Eaglestorm's talk page, you have broken the three revert rule by a lot, and have probably stepped into harrassment territory. Stop now, or you may be blocked. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 05:48, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Eaglestorm

[edit]

It's probably best to give up posting on Eaglestorm's talk page. While your comments were quite valid, they've fallen on deaf ears again,[1] and will continue to do so, since he can't see where he's at fault, even when he's trying to escape a block.[2] Even quite appropriate warnings have no effect.[3] He's going to be a problem editor that we just have to tolerate for the time being. By all means, warn him if necessary though, and watch for sneaky vandalism, like removing valid maintenance tags while doing something else. --AussieLegend () 09:40, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Satellite vs Moon

[edit]

I'm not trying to get into an editing war with you. But "moon" is the term that scientists use. Note even that the Wikipedia articles are "Moons of Pluto", "Moons of Saturn", etc.

A moon is a natural satellite.JavautilRandom (talk) 22:59, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wormholes in fiction, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stellaris (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
