I will not make again those edits. But "covid 19" is a wrong spelling. I did not turn "[covid 19]" into "[COVID-19|covid 19]". That would be pointless and I would agree with you. Instead I corrected "covid 19" by replacing it with "COVID-19". I would have not changed "CoViD-19" or "COVID-2019" or "Corona Virus Disease 2019" with "COVID-19" because those are all legitimate spellings as well as "Franking D. Roosevelt". All I did was correcting a misspell as wrong as "franklin d roosevelt". If an administrator tells me that this is a problem then I do not want to create problems to the encyclopedia so I will leave those misspells as they are now. 151.30.103.107 (talk) 22:40, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Per COVID-19_naming, stylization as "Covid-19" has become common as well. Numerous news sources including The New York Times, CNN, Politico, The Wall Street Journal, NBCNews have presented the term with a capital C but all other letters as lower case. OhNoitsJamie Talk 22:51, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"COVID-19 naming" is right. "Covid-19" has become common as well. Not "Covid 19". 151.30.103.107 (talk) 23:00, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not going to object if you add a hyphen (i.e., Covid 19 -> Covid-19), but it would be disruptive to go around and change all instances of "Covid-19" to "COVID-19." OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:15, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I only modified those two occurrences from "Covid 19" to "COVID-19" and I am not going to modify any other possible occurrences should they come out. If you tell me not to restore those two edits I will not restore them. If you tell me that you are okay with me restoring those two edits I will do it. I do not want this simple correction to be a problem for the encyclopedia or the community. 151.30.103.107 (talk) 23:45, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Taking another look at those pages, it seemed that a link to the pandemic/crisis made more sense than a link to the virus; I changed the link to match the new target article. OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:01, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am okay with this solution. Thank you for your collaboration. 151.30.103.107 (talk) 07:00, March 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for working with me on that. There are a lot of policies to keep track of here; WP:COMMONNAME comes up frequently, but it's not always clear cut. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:18, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
