[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
Someone using this IP address, 174.71.195.229, removed content from the page Mormon Tabernacle Choir without giving an explanation. - I recommend that you get a username. [edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Mormon Tabernacle Choir does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Peaceray (talk) 23:49, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Adding reviews to the album ratings template
[edit]Hi. Thanks for adding to Imploding the Mirage. Just a note that we should only put reviews with scores in the album ratings template, as summaries of the review (e.g. "favorable", "positive" or "unfavorable") are seen as WP:OR per the template's documentation: "It is used to display only brief and objectively-verifiable ratings given to an album, such as "4/5 stars", "B+", or "7/10". It cannot capture the general sense of a review that does not include any kind of scale, so do not include language like "Very favorable" or "(mixed)" in the template, as this would be original research." Also, when you add sources to an article, please fill them out and don't leave bare URLs, as these are susceptive to link rot. Thanks. Ss112 17:18, 20 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Brandon Flowers. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 03:41, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
