Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions to White Australia policy and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Alfred Molina, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You've twice changed "English-American" to "English-born Spanish-Italian American". The first time it was reverted with a request in the edit summary that you refer to MOS:ETHNICITY. Perhaps you didn't see that? It describes the generally accepted standard that in the lead section of biography articles, Wikipedia mentions only nationality, not ethnic background. Molina was born and raised in the country of England, where he became a famous actor and lived until he was about 50 years old, before emigrating to the US. Please see the Manual of Style for more details. Thank you. IamNotU (talk) 17:24, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
