It does not matter if you are not signed in, what matters is you made an edit. So if (and you may not be) you are an editor who has (or had) an account who is now using an IP to make edits when they should not you could get a ban(sucj as to avoid blocks or make it appear two people disagree with something).Slatersteven (talk) 08:15, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address.
