[edit]Hello, I'm Celjski Grad. I noticed that you recently removed content from MaKami College without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - HI there! Sorry I did add a comment but maybe I didn't save it.
- The two most recent edits I made were to remove the line about insurance company. MaKami nor Marija Pavkovic-Tovissi created a new insurance company.
- The second one was regarding seemingly biased edits from the editor regarding an article about Parkland Institute. The way the edit is written and cited appears very biased and seems to be overly promotional to Parkland Institute.
- I hope that helps! 184.71.59.210 (talk) 15:34, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- The first item has a citation that disagrees with you. The second item is also cited, does not seem biased or promotional and makes an argument against independent academic institution statuses in general. You’re welcome to add sourced information to the article or discuss further on the article talk page. Celjski Grad (talk) 17:48, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at MaKami College, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. - Hello,
- I have given several valid reasons for the removal or requested editing of these 2 pieces of content from the page, multiple times. I can see it in the history.
- To summarize, I would like to remove or at a minimum request revisions to the following lines, for the following reasons:
- 1. The school originally struggled to find an insurer and created its own insurance company to solve this problem.
- For these reasons:
- - It is not true or accurate.
- - It is irrelevant, unrelated and unneccessary to the page.
- 2. The Parkland Institute criticized this decision citing program duplication, the inflated costs of MaKami's programs relative to similar programs in public postsecondary schools, and that the decision would open the door for private for profit postsecondary schools to receive public funding in the future.
- - It is written in a biased manner
- - It is duplicate content from the original source already included in reference 1
- - It is promotional to Parkland institute
- - The edits provided originated from a biased source, Concordia College, who is a competitor school to us, so this edit should not be approved, at least not in its current format.
- If there is somewhere else I should be adding my reasons that I am unaware of I would appreciate your guidance.
- Otherwise, what further steps can I take to resolve this? As I know no one would like to go back and forth forever like this. 184.71.59.210 (talk) 18:24, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- It's clear from your response that you are an employee of MaKami College and therefore have a WP:COI with this article and should not be making controversial edits. Celjski Grad (talk) 09:59, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at MaKami College, you may be blocked from editing. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:50, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
