1906Earl:

Thank you for your recent contribution to my earlier article, Earl Anthony Wayne. On a lark, I'll venture a guess that you might be the subject of the article itself, and if so, allow me to extend my warmest welcome to Wikipedia, your excellency.

I'm the son of Argentines who left a generation ago (during one of the numerous Argentine economic crises), and wish I could have been in Buenos Aires while the U.S. Embassy hosted its jazz encounters (a tradition I hope your successor will preserve). Sir, I wish you and yours the best for your endeavours in Afghanistan.

By the way, if I was wrong in presuming you were Ambassador Wayne, please take it as a compliment - not only personally, but for your well-tempered writing style, which we need more of on Wikipedia.

Either way, thank you for your contributions, and, again, welcome.

Sincerely,
