Long tons and metric tons are the standard measures of displacement for ships. Even the U.S. Navy uses these measures. So removing long tons from the displacement in articles on ships is the wrong thing to do.-- Toddy1 (talk) 18:56, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
