November 2023[edit]
Hello, I'm Panian513. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Charleston, South Carolina, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please take a look at the pre-existing sources before altering content, as the 2020 census (which was cited) listed Charleston as having 153,672 people, not 120,000. Panian513 00:01, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Charleston, South Carolina, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Panian513 00:05, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at South Carolina, you may be blocked from editing. Again, stop using old information from the 2010 census, the 2020 census has been conducted and lists Charleston as the largest city in SC. Panian513 00:21, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. - If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. ZsinjTalk 00:36, 20 November 2023 (UTC)

MC Wren the Carolina Wren's facts about Charleston[edit]
According to MC Wren the Carolina Wren, Charleston is the 2nd biggest city by population and the friendliest city in South Carolina. If you want to watch a video, here's the link at the bottom: [1] 209.122.135.100 (talk) 00:11, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- Well, Youtube is not typically considered a reliable source, but the Census Bureau is, which lists it as the largest city. Additionally, the phrase "friendliest city" is subjective and biased, and has no place on Wikipedia. Panian513 00:15, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- It's also important to point out that the video by MC Wren was made in 2015, so their information was based upon the 2010 census. Since the video was made, the 2020 census was conducted, and its results listed Charleston as the largest city over Columbia. That appears to be the big misunderstanding here - using outdated census information. Panian513 00:17, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- That is not a misunderstanding. He was saying the truth. If you guys are going to consider this as a misunderstanding, I have extra backup. So here's the link: [2] 209.122.135.100 (talk) 00:45, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- That video was produced in 2018, which was before 2020, and therefore also bases its information off of the 2010 census. Please consider paying close attention to the chronology of sources before adding or altering content on Wikipedia. Panian513 00:47, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- Like MC Wren, Homeschool Pop is also telling the truth so if you are going to consider both of them incorrect, I have other backup. So here's the link: [3] 209.122.135.100 (talk) 01:24, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
