Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

In this link: http://www.marketing-interactive.com/mea-awards/sg/winners/ you list:

  • Event Agency of the Year 2016
  • Best Event - Community Service (gold award)
  • Best Event - Government Sector (gold award)
  • Best Event - Immersive Experience (gold award)
  • Best Event - Use of Venue (gold award)

I see the government sector listing, but nothing for the others. Please reference the others or remove them. Also, please use a wp:citation. A direct link should be avoided in this case. It should look something like <ref name=MI2016>{{cite web |url= http://www.marketing-interactive.com/mea-awards/sg/winners/ |title= |publisher= Marketing Interactive |date= 2016 |accessdate= 12 April 2017}}</ref> If it is needed more than once, use <ref name=MI12016/> Note the "/" - leave out the "nowiki" stuff. Jim1138 (talk) 14:30, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, don't remove the tags at the top of the page until they are resolved. See the instructions in the box about removal. Jim1138 (talk) 14:30, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Still an orphan

Please don't remove the tag without addressing the problem. Jim1138 (talk) 11:36, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 12:03, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You need to read and understand linked policy pages the tags at the top of Pico Far East Holdings Limited. Your article reads like and advertisement. That is not what Wikipedia is for. See WP:NOTPROMOTION. Jim1138 (talk) 18:38, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You need to communicate. Pico is supposed to be a communications company, isn't it? See wp:talk page guidelines.

Many of your references do not support the awards. Please use footnotes instead of inline urls has you have been doing. See help:referencing for beginners and help:footnotes Jim1138 (talk) 20:29, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please share what should we do.

Please see WP:ELMINOFFICIAL Jim1138 (talk) 05:18, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The links added were separate company websites for audience to seek for more information or see reference of information. They are not multiple official websites for same company. This is common practice I saw in other companies wiki such as Ogilvy & Mather.

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. 220 of Borg 06:17, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
