User talk:24.55.11.60
October 2023
[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to 2017–18 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 22:43, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
Read the edit summary before reverting. It's right there in front of your face. 24.55.11.60 (talk) 22:44, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- Me reverting that has absolutely nothing to do with being a Kansas fan and I'm not sure why you think that. It has everything to do with there being a difference between vacating wins and acting like the games never happened. There's a not above the schedule table explains wins were vacated beginning with the K-State game. If I was trying to be biased on the page I would be hiding the wins being vacated but I'm not doing that.--Rockchalk717 19:40, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- I think you are too close to this subject and should refrain from editing any articles relating to the University of Kansas. 24.55.11.60 (talk) 03:27, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- Lol you're acting like I played for Kansas but no. Nothing I'm doing is remotely close to being biased and if you think so you clearly don't know what the word means. You also clearly and obviously don't know a thing about Wikipedia policy. Vacated games don't get erased from existence, the win just doesn't count anymore. Leave them in the article or you will be subject to a block. I will not be returning except for additional warning. --Rockchalk717 05:06, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- And fyi, regarding this, you might wanna take a deeper look at that policy. That other IP address wasn't edit warring, you were, in fact, you were awfully close to breaking the three revert rule.--Rockchalk717 06:18, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- How is reverting you and your sockpuppet two times "close" to breaking a three revert rule? Do you even know how to count? Seriously, you need to back off of this topic since you are losing your mind and talking in nonsense. 24.55.11.60 (talk) 19:37, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

- For starters, that IP is a desktop computer in Georgia, 1,700 miles from where I live and I usually edit from a phone. Two, apparently you can't count because 1 2 3 reverts from you, none of which were my username or my IP address. 3, you are literally the only person to ever get accuse me of bias. I'm not losing my mind I'm just trying to explain to you why the games should be left in the article. Once again, leave them in the article, further removals will result in a block. Have a fantastic day--Rockchalk717 20:20, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- Pretending VPNs, proxies, and even cell phone IP geolocation divergences don't exist is bad faith. You clearly have an uncontrollable bias as you can't even keep yourself from coming back here to argue weeks later. It's obvious that you can't control yourself and should refrain from editing Wikipedia. Your threats of a block are only going to get you in more trouble as you are under investigation for sockpuppetry and edit warring. You are now being warned to stay away from all articles relating to the University of Kansas. All of your edits are suspect for both WP:NPOV and WP:SELFPROMOTE. 24.55.11.60 (talk) 18:02, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- Selfpromote only applies if you are personally associated with an article subject, I have never worked for the University of Kansas, played for any University of Kansas sports, or even attended University of Kansas. I'm just a fan and most editors of sports pages edit the pages they are a fan of. I do have 3 conflicts of interest on Wikipedia and all 3 are identified on my user page and I refrain from editing those pages. You are legitimately the only person to ever accuse me of bias or maintaining a non-neutral POV. I'm taking your threats of a block with a grain of salt as you clearly have no idea of what you're talking about and all of this stemming from you thinking vacated wins means they are are erased from existence. All of this is laughably ridiculous and I'm done discussing it with you, not to mention falsely accusing me of using sock puppet IP addresses and a VPN, which I do have on my computer I just never use it, but I do not have on my cellphone.

- At this point I'm going to kindly and politely ask you to leave me alone about this topic specifically and move on. And I would genuinely like to you see try to have me blocked over this. Have a fantastic day.--Rockchalk717 18:19, 25 October 2023 (UTC)\
- You clearly don't refrain from editing them as the entire origin of this conversation is you editing a University of Kansas page. The entire origin. You are clearly associated with the University of Kansas as is evidenced by your username. You are a fan of the University. You are biased in favor of the University. You can't see past your own bias in regards to the University. This is all clear as day. It won't be me blocking you, it will be a Wikipedia admin. It's also intriguing that you now admit to using a VPN when just above you claimed to believe that IPs are static and there is no way you could have had an IP associated with Georgia. Your entire world is about to come crumbling down, all because of your blind fanaticism for all things KU. 24.55.11.60 (talk) 18:27, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
I'm not going to waste my time reading your response. I literally typed this up outside of Wikipedia and pasted it here to minimize time spent on your talk page. I'm only here to advise you that per WP:OWNTALK and WP:BLANKING I am able to remove posts from my talk page as I see fit. Removing a warning (when legitimate at least, your's was not because I have not violated any policy. Continue to harass me about this topic with your false accusations of bias, sockpuppetry, using a VPN to mask my actual IP address, and claims that I am violating policies you clearly do not seem to understand yourself and I will be going to ANI. Once again, please leave me alone in relationship to this topic. Thank you. --Rockchalk717 04:17, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
- Let's go ANI. You are a biased editor who can't see past your alma mater and should not be editing Wikipedia. You resort to sockpuppetry and baseless claims because you can't be objective. You don't belong on this platform. I welcome further investigation into your behavior. 24.55.11.60 (talk) 04:09, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
