[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Crisp sandwich, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. You cannot editorialise the entire article based on one recipe mentioned in a Reddit thread. Smirkybec (talk) 22:23, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- The entire article is already one big culturally-biased editorial, with no evidence to support a UK or Irish origin. As such I'll keep removing any references that make such an unsupported claim. Again, either provide incontrovertible proof that the claims in the article are accurate or kindly shut up. 2601:8C0:881:8200:D992:F197:34C5:A796 (talk) 09:40, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Crisp sandwich, you may be blocked from editing. Mako001 (C) (T) 🇺🇦 09:41, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
- Enough with the hyperbole. I haven't "vandalized" anything. The article is inaccurate, period. 2601:8C0:881:8200:D992:F197:34C5:A796 (talk) 09:47, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Crisp sandwich. Adakiko (talk) 09:51, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
- I see, so attempting to correct misinformation is "disruptive" because other editors deem it so? Evidently their egos are more important than presenting accurate information. 2601:8C0:881:8200:D992:F197:34C5:A796 (talk) 09:55, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
- No, your removal of sourced content and sources w/o citing an wp:RS is disruptive. Adakiko (talk) 11:53, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
Notice of edit warring
[edit]Your recent editing history at Crisp sandwich shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
