I have been blocked for no reason whatsoever. Ian.thomson is just randomly blocking for fun.

The block is for block evasion- so you at least need to address that in any unblock request you make, and unless you have a statement in a diff from the blocking admin where they state you did nothing wrong and they blocked you for fun, you can't use that argument.
