[edit] Hello, I'm Bruce1ee. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Last meal, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bruce1eetalk 17:13, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- The reason for my edit or rather deletion of the misinformation is that it is slanderous racism and a factual lie. I was curious as to why the individual described in the article asked for a last meal that is stereotypically associated with black African Americans. I am not black or American but even I could see that this seemed suspicious. The segment states that Michael Smith's last meal was "Two extra large buckets of Church’s fried chicken, a watermelon, and two grape sodas." However, a quick Google search will show that Mr. Smith declined a last meal. Whoever posted that segment is being blatantly racist by applying stereotypes about fried chicken, watermelon and grape soda. This should be obvious. It is a troll. As I said, this is purely about the facts. I do not care about anyone involved in this case or the racist aspect as I am not black or connected to anyone in this case, nor do I even live on that continent. Please remove the troll's garbage. 2A0A:EF40:121D:2802:FD82:1C8:E4C4:9EBF (talk) 17:47, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- I've removed it. Thanks for removing it before, and sorry about editors jumping the gun when seeing an IP remove something. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 18:44, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- Apologies, I've reverted my comment. Thank you @ScottishFinnishRadish: for the notice and correction. Zinnober9 (talk) 19:44, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for misunderstanding your edits. I've struck out my warning above. @ScottishFinnishRadish: FYI. —Bruce1eetalk 22:25, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
