Unsourced genres

[edit]

Hi there, please don't make changes to film genres without providing references to support the changes. We're not here to entertain our personal interpretations of a film's genre. And changes like this where you stack a ton of genres together are not helpful. Per our Manual of Style for film articles, we add "the primary genre or sub-genre under which it is verifiably classified. calling something a "psychological science fiction action film" is a bit obnoxious because you've just mashed three primary genres together. Genre should be indicative of the broad shape of the filme, and should be representative of what the majority of sources consider it to be. So unless you can find a multitude of sources that call it a "psychological science fiction action film", then you should not be stacking these. Just because a film employs some elements of horror or science fiction doesn't change the genre of the film. Comedy, for example, often uses dramatic themes, but that doesn't mean that when it does it suddenly becomes a comedy drama. Please don't submit any more unsourced genres. Thank you.
