Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Rich McCormick, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 05:56, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Roger that, I tried linking to the youtube video, but I'm afraid I couldn't quite get it to work. Dr. McCormick was at Georgia Tech, teaching ROTC, while I was a student there. He would show the Chess commercial, as well as the American gladiator video, quite often. I don't know how exactly to cite that, if the youtube video is insufficient. It was common knowledge throughout the unit, and Major McCormick would talk about it regularly. Totally understand if too busy to assist; working on a Ph.D. myself and understand busy real life. Blessings. 50.96.197.77 (talk) 04:01, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I found a link to the video on Dr. McCormick's 2020 Congressional Facebook page, where he posted both the video and identified himself as the participant in the commercial. I apologize, when I tried to put a link to it in the references section, I couldn't quite figure out where the other references were, and didn't want to delete anyone else's work by accident.
