[edit]Hi there. For now I have reverted your edit at the article on Bancroft. I think i understand your reasoning. Unfortunately, if you review the talk page in the lead-up (and following) the article's appearance as a TFA, you will see that text was necessary. Some of the debate was insensitive and ignorant, but in a way, that highlights why it is desirable to include that text - it avoids ignorant debate and complaining.
