Prince William was Prince William of Wales since 21 June 1982 not since 1982

The laws regarding titles bestowed on members of the British Royal Family were not made with the sensitivities of the Wikipedia community in mind. It does not care about when his name was announced. He was a Prince since birth. Not since his name was announced to the public. The law does not care about the public. If Queen Elizabeth II is noted as Princess Elizabeth of York since the day of her birth when her name wasn’t announced then then why is it so here? 68.197.237.149 (talk) 20:15, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
