Draft articles

[edit]

I see that you have created dozens of draft articles, and as far as I can see never submitted any of them for creation as articles, even though some of them were created a long time ago. Neither pages in "Draft" space nor pages in the older "Talk:Articles for creation" space should be used for long-term storage of pages unsuitable as articles. I also see that most, if not all, of the drafts concern work by musicians who clearly fail to satisfy Wikipedia's notability guidelines, so they will never be suitable as articles. Since large numbers of the drafts all relate to the same musicians, it also looks as though you may have a close connection to those musicians, and you may be using these pages for the purpose of promotion of them, which is against Wikipedia policy. Do you have any reason why the drafts should continue to exist, given that, for the reasons I have outlined, they seem to fail, in several ways, to be suitable as drafts? Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Crazy For Summer (Tavin Clavin song), a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:31, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello 74.193.219.47. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Crazy For Summer (Tavin Clavin song)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Crazy For Summer (Tavin Clavin song)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 19:00, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Page blanking

[edit]
  • Comment It appears that the page blanking referred to in the previous warning was a good faith deletion request by author and I have listed the article for speedy deletion accordingly. Page blanking by author of a draft article does not constitute vandalism. Safiel (talk) 16:13, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a web host

[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. You never responded to my message above, dated 11 June, and your editing has continued to be exactly the same in nature as it was before I posted that message. Every appearance suggests that you have no intention of ever submitting any of the so-called "drafts" that you create for creation as articles, and that you are merely using Wikipedia as a web host to store pages which are not intended to become Wikipedia articles, and which would not be suitable as articles anyway. The subjects of the pages do not satisfy Wikipedia's notability criteria, and the pages also seem to be substantially promotional in purpose. I invite you once again to provide any reason why these "drafts" should continue to exist, and not be deleted, although you did not respond the last time I did so. You also need to be aware that continuing to edit Wikipedia in ways that are contrary to Wikipedia policy is likely to lead to being blocked from editing.
