Your changes to Nazi racial theories also did not constitute an improvement, for various reasons.—Alalch E. 15:38, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Alalch E. I only changed 'Volk' I wanted people to know the etymology. eg. Volkswagen means people car. I think its more interesting If you add where it comes for & is a positive edit 2A04:4A43:549F:DB0D:0:0:13DF:497 (talk) 15:40, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, but the definition of Volk given in the article, in relevant context, is taken from the cited work. Wikipedia has policies about relying on sources to create and modify content, and original research is forbidden.—Alalch E. 15:46, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Alalch E. How do I cite like German words Like I can't really cite a word Like can I? Like I can't Cite Google translate? & Like Am I allowed to Re do it with a citation not that you've removed it? 81.106.110.106 (talk) 16:05, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There's already a definition: "the people as a lineage group sharing a territory, language and culture". Why want to change it? You had changed it to "Volk means People in German & he means the people as in their culture/apperance", but the existing definition is the one provided in the cited source.—Alalch E. 16:13, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Alalch E. Oh. didn't realise it already has a definition. my bad bro didn't know there qas already a definition. I just don't want to get in trouble on Wikipedia. the other guy said that I could get banned on editing Really don't want that To happen so I thought I was in trouble 81.106.110.106 (talk) 16:17, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's great that you want to contribute to this free online encyclopedia. No one is born an encyclopedia editor (how many professional encyclopedia editors in the world are there even?), and starting to really understand how to make the good changes, that improve articles for the benefit of our readers, is a trial-and-error process that takes a certain amount of time. During this, other editors will keep telling you that you are making various mistakes. This is necessary, and such mistakes are fine, as long as you acknowledge such messages as useful guidance and demonstrate in your subsequent edits that you understand the most important things. You will only get "banned" if this process doesn't work for you. If you want to increase your chances of becoming a successful Wikipedia contributor, edit articles on less "heavy topics" for a while.—Alalch E. 16:36, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Alalch E. Thank you so much.
