John Topcliffe[edit]

Hello,

I was reading your history of John Topcliffe but it appears that there is a mix-up between the two Topcliff villages, one near Thirsk and the other near Leeds.

See the Genuki gazetteer.

I was referred to the page via the Wiki entry for Topcliff near Thirsk, although I see that John Topcliffe has his memorial "between Leeds and Dewsbury".

I don't know enough about the man to correct it, but it is muddling!
