Connecting names with usernames

[edit]

Do not connect any usernames with names of people. The only person who can do that is the user themselves. ~ GB fan 18:46, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@GB fan: Umm, Well, regarding to the two users in question: they already did that themselves, a decade ago. You can find it on the various talk pages and edit discussions. It's not some deep secret; they were not hiding their identities. 84.15.177.191 (talk) 18:53, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at edits and could not find anything where they self identified. The article creator has only contributed to two pages, the article you nominated for deletion and a now deleted draft. There is no contributions to any talk pages. I looked at the other user and could not find anything there either. If you can show where they self identified, I will restore content. ~ GB fan 19:02, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, the prod'ed article is highlighted on the user's LinkedIn profile. 84.15.177.191 (talk) 19:19, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You can not take things from off wikipedia and use that to link a person with a wikipedia username on wikipedia. ~ GB fan 19:23, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
