Edit warring at Palm Pre

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Palm Pre. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution.

A case has already been filed on this at WP:AN3. If you continue to revert this article without first getting consensus on the Talk page, you will most likely be blocked. EdJohnston (talk) 04:30, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And strange it is since I have responed on talk, have the support of others and am using the model consistent on wikipeida and the press and have citations. The other user has his own idiosyncratic view on pricing.11:10, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Whether you are right does not matter. Whether you are revert-warring *does* matter. If you sincerely try to reach consensus with other editors on the article Talk page, you will not be sanctioned. The other editors are the people you have to persuade. If you don't care about their views, you may be blocked regardless of your rightness. EdJohnston (talk) 18:34, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As a matter of fact the other editors agreed with me, and the situation was resolved, with the edits of the person who incorrectly reported me for reverts having their entire text removed by full consensus.85Zed (talk) 23:20, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
