Judge Guthrie

[edit]

Regarding the content you keep adding back to the article. There is a consensus on the talk page against it as well as the reverts by a number of users. In any case at the moment it is original research which is not permitted as it cannot be verified. Please cite a reliable source or it will be removed again. Regards, Callanecc (talkcontribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 15:36, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There's clearly a consensus that Guthrie is white. It is clearly verified by the posts in the talk section, which you ignored. Once the protection is removed this will be corrected. Please do not change it again. You have no evidence to support your views, no support, and are now resorting to insulting others. Please try to respond in a mature manner. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.162.199.218 (talk) 16:21, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Judge Guthrie. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Judge Guthrie, you may be blocked from editing. Callanecc (talkcontribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 18:27, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring, as you did at Judge Guthrie. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

You're trying to change Wikipedia the hard way and just frustrating yourself. I suggest you check out the links in the notes folks have left you above about how use consensus to make article changes. Then, when you're unblocked, take your ideas to Talk:Judge Guthrie and discuss them with your fellow editors. If they doubt the accuracy of your proposed edits, then find sources to back them up. That's how we do things here. --A. B. (talkcontribs) 19:54, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
