[edit]It is a shame that remote "editors" think they know better than people who've actual experience of the events they add. Would a picture of the man in question stood on Cornwall's f'o'csle suffice?
The information that he was in command from 1990 to 1992 is also independently verifiable from a number of other sources, such as the commanding officer's section at this link

Other than to be pedantic therefore David, I'm not sure what your objection is?
Please do not add or change content, as you did at HMS Cornwall (F99), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. David Biddulph (talk) 18:46, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at HMS Cornwall (F99). You referred to me as an "uninformed editor"; readers would have been informed if you had provided a reference, so please read about verifiability. David Biddulph (talk) 22:03, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
