Decline reason:
Per review at OPP ... many known proxies in range, and less than convincing request. — Daniel Case (talk) 23:52, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I have referred this to WP:OPP for a new check. Daniel Case (talk) 12:12, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Request reason:
My Server is no open Proxy. It’s a server I pay for, it’s my ip and I use an openvpn solution - so there is not even a proxy server running on that IP. I don’t care how many other servers are for rent in the IP Range of Hetzner, on mine there is no open proxy running. If you would have checked it yourself and not used NON working tools you would have seen this. So F*** YOU !!!! I am not an Admin, I only want to give a contribution from time to time. If you don't won’t me as part of the community it is your mistake. But don't belief my personal opinion about wikipedia will not change over this. 88.198.62.215 (talk) 12:17, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

You will not be unblocked if you are abusive in your unblock request -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:53, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

I'm willing to consider referring this unblock request to the WikiProject on open proxies if the situation has changed since the last time you requested an unblock. Comments made at that project last time included "Webservers don't need to edit wikipedia", and "Furthermore, not only is it a webhost, it also appears to be a shared webhost. Connecting with domain name leads to a different page than connecting to the IP. Definitely no reason to unblock at this point." Is there any reason to regard those comments as inapplicable? Is there any good reason for you to edit via a webserver, rather than directly? If so, you may have a good case for unblocking. You may also like to think about whether or not, when you are asking a volunteer to do something to help you, saying "So F*** YOU !!!!" is likely to encourage them to do so. - Indeed, as you can see, it seems it did not encourage a volunteer to help you. You are welcome to make another (civil) unblock request. If so, I suggest that you address the points I have raised. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:49, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
