Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, your edit to List of breakout characters did not appear to be constructive, and has been reverted.

If you feel that some aspect of an article or the way in which it is being written is wrong, such as an indication in a commented-out note regarding what can be included in the article, then the proper thing to do is to begin a new discussion at the bottom of that article's talk page, and not with dueling notes in the article. See WP:TALK for more on this.

Just so you know, I have no position on the matter of Jack Sparrow one way or another, but it bears mention that Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here, so if you come across sources that indicate explicitly or otherwise indicate that that character (or any other) is considered a breakout character, then you can add it to the article, provided that your addition is accompanied by citations of those sources.
