"Actual"

[edit]

Hello. I noticed you referred in OpenPDF to the "actual" version of the software. I'm guessing your first language is one of the languages in which "actuel" or "actual" or "aktuell" or "aktueel" means "at the present time", but in English that usage is, at best, rare (I verified this from the Oxford English Dictionary, this isn't just my impression). I'd bet most native English speakers are unaware of it. We usually use it to mean "real". A word that we typically use to mean "at the present time" is "current".
