"Copy-edit"

[edit]

It is not "copyediting" to change instances of "accessdate" (Which is fine and works fine) to "access-date". This is by no means a copy edit and is not required. Ss112 07:03, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Ss112: Is it your personal policy to enforce bad syntax and promote incorrect punctuation in Wikipedia? Instead of wasting storage space and wasting other editors' time by undoing perfectly good technical edits, you might first try checking the template specifications for the correct parameter names. I also suggest you stop substituting deprecated parameters for recommended parameters.97.93.30.225 (talk) 00:17, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Accessdate" is not "incorrect" punctuation, nor is changing it to "access-date" a "copy-edit". Try getting your terms right before you try to come for me or "recommend" things to me as if you're even in any particular position to do so. I'm very well aware of what the "recommended" parameter is—that doesn't make your change necessary, because until "accessdate" stops working, it's fine. I don't believe I'm wasting my time at all, really. It took two seconds to undo what you did—and really, I think you need to educate yourself about how minuscule in terms of storage space revisions really are. Even then, you wasted your time doing something that was undone and that you thought was necessary to do when it really isn't. I also suggest you register for an account if you want to take Wikipedia so seriously, like thinking you're educating a registered editor while using an IP address. @Ss112: I see you have been rather busy in the last 24 hours, systematically reverting other edits that I made to Wikipedia — all for no good reason whatsoever. This could be construed as "wikistalking", which is strictly forbidden by Wikipedia policies. Editors have been blocked for periods of months for smaller infractions. Are you sure you want to continue on your present course?97.93.30.225 (talk) 03:56, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest you brush up on what constitutes WP:Wikihounding because you appear not to know what it is. Looking at someone's contributions when they're of a similar pattern (all unnecessary edits, changing "accessdate" to "access-date") and undoing them is not "wikistalking", and "busy in the last 24 hours"—hilarious overexaggeration there. I reverted maybe three of your edits. Don't oversell the amount or size of your contributions. I also think I have a much better grasp of who's been blocked for what on Wikipedia more generally than you do, and it's very hard to argue that looking at someone's contributions once or even a few times because they are known for making pointless changes constitutes "stalking", so by all means, have fun making what you can out of your veiled threat. Are you even new here? You certainly don't speak like you are. Are you a user who's been blocked previously now editing under an IP address? Because if that's the case, are you sure you want to continue on your present course? Ss112 03:59, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, by the way, you don't need to use the reply to template—most users, if they care about your replies, will watchlist your talk page. Even though I'm sure you will, it's really not necessary to continue replying to me, because I don't think you're really accomplishing a lot by acting like you know more than you actually do and making veiled threats.
