Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made a change to an article, John Lear, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Adakiko (talk) 10:21, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Hey 98.20... I'm not unsympathetic to your perspective, but Wikipedia only works when it describes reality as described by existing reliable sources. The claims of the past year may feel unprecedented to you, but in fact, military sources going back to the 50s have made essentially identical claims. They're notable claims, we cover them, and who knows, maybe there's something there -- but for now, they're just claims and we have to convey that reality to our readers. Even if we wanted to violate NPOV and push a pro-UFO agenda beyond what's verified in reliable sources, it wouldn't make people believe in UFOs, it would just make them distrust Wikipedia.
