Here is a map that may help you get to the lake: http://goo.gl/maps/xcRee. You turn on a little road, called "Old Scout Rd." or NF-15, off of Highway 126 just east of Blue River. The Forest Service has directions too. Another trick is to click on the coordinates at the top right of the article, which links to several different maps.
