Re: Proposed Deletion of Darkest Hour (video game)

[edit]

In response to your question, all of the sources you listed are press releases, which come from the publisher itself, thus falling under self-published sources. The game needs to have reliable, significant coverage from a third-party source, such as a preview or hands-on demo by a gaming journalism site such as IGN or GameSpot. --Teancum (talk) 18:14, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Getting the game covered is up to the publisher, unfortunately. Even if they put out so much as a set of screenshots or trailers on journalistic sites that might be enough to go on, but the press releases aren't enough. I would say that if the devs/publisher put out a trailer and sent it out to say, gametrailers.com - then that'd be more grounds. Still a little shaky, but not something I would think is grounds for deletion. Unfortunately knowing that a game is in existence, even from a major publisher just isn't enough. Sorry. --Teancum (talk) 20:47, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
