Disambiguation link notification for December 16[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited WXNY-LD, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page WABC. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

List of ViacomCBS television programs[edit]

Hello, just to remind you that Joe Pickett and Station Eleven had started airing so can you move the two to Paramount Television Studios section? 148.252.133.39 (talk) 19:00, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Table "scope"s at WVLT-TV[edit]

Hey, wanted to explain why I did this! It's something I do on articles I intend to nominate for WP:GA status, and it's actually an accessibility requirement pointed out to me in the process of nominating one of the pages. See WP:DTT:

The headers help screen readers render header information about data cells. For example, header information is spoken prior to the cell data, or header information is provided on request.

Arguably, all the pages should do this because of the accessibility implications. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 22:57, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading edit summaries[edit]

A very large proportion of your edits have the edit summary "Fixed typo". I have checked a fairly large sample of those edits, and none of them did anything you could possibly have believed was correcting a typo. Please start using edit summaries which accurately indicate the nature of your editing; if you don't, you are likely to be blocked from editing by an administrator. You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistently using misleading edit-summaries, in full knowledge of what you are doing. Also, please take note of the messages you have received above about other editing problems; if you continue to edit in unconstructive ways you may well be blocked from editing for much longer. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 21:41, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As you no doubt expected, you have been blocked from editing again, for continuing the same kind of editing that led to your previous block. Naturally, this time the block is for a significantly longer period. JBW (talk) 11:33, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
