Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

Steps to Christ external link[edit]

Hi AWHerritt,

Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. I had a quick look at your website which you linked to, and it looked quite good. I couldn't see any POV material - it was simply the book and nothing else that could suggest a particular POV. The site is also attractive, and looks very convenient with several file formats available. I also noticed that you claim that the White Estate gave you permission or something. All of this leads me to support this link contribution.

You may have noticed that there is a bit of an "edit war" going on at the moment regarding a large number of external links, which could easily be considered spam. I am saying this because with so much external link spam currently happening, it would be easy for your link to be judged as the same. Hence, I suggest that you discuss the proposed addition on the talk page of an article first, and see what other editors say. This is actually Wikipedia policy, as you do have a vested interest in the site (since it is yours). I suggest that you comment on the talk page of Ellen G. White in the section currently discussing external links.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Cheers, Colin MacLaurin 14:52, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
