I am being blocked when it's not me who's blocked but my IP Address
[edit]{{help me}}
Hello, a user by the name of Valkyrie Red has been blocked, and as a result of us sharing the same IP Address, I have been blocked too. Can someone please tell me what to do now?--Abl3igail (talk) 23:37, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, if I understand it correctly, the message about you being blocked should tell you how to do that. Specifically, it should contain code starting with
{{unblock
, that you should copy here to request unblocking. Svick (talk) 00:13, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
I find it absurd and quite frankly rude that I am being accused of being a sock-puppet of another user. For one thing, I just moved to the US like a month ago, so I can't be a sock-puppet.
Decline reason:
Quite a coincidence that your apartment building/complex has so many American History buffs trying to edit Wikipedia at the same time. Decline per WP:DUCK. —DoRD (?) (talk) 02:51, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Could you explain, then, why this account, User:McBuHoMeGr, User:Valkyrie Red, and User:Dewdinblue appear to be operated by the same person? – Luna Santin (talk) 02:12, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
{{unblock|Well I happen to live in an apartment and use a laptop. I connect to an unsecured network. Perhaps that could be your answer.}--Abl3igail (talk) 02:20, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
Coincidences can happen, and if you jerks don't want to except them, then I guess I don't want to be a part of Wikipedia anymore. So much for being The Free Encyclopedia, banning members on false accusations.
Decline reason:
You aren't actually asking to be unblocked in this request. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:43, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
