Perryville Tree Engravings

[edit]

Hello Adam Rybczynski and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for creating the Perryville Tree engravings article. It is an interesting topic. I went ahead and did a little bit of cleanup but I just want to warn you that other editors might want to delete it because it needs more third-party, verifiable references. I don't want to see it get deleted.

I also added the article to the List of trees.

A couple of things that might might be useful:

  • Latitude and longitude of the area where the trees can be found (many articles make use of this). See Template:Coord for more info.
  • For the images, it would be better for the historical record if you added in the caption the date that the photos were taken.
  • More third-party references. These don't necessarily have to be online; you could cite a book or magazine too, as long as the citation is accurate.

If you have questions about Wikipedia in general, please feel free to respond here or on my talk page. —Diiscool (talk) 16:45, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I came across Perryville Tree engravings as part of the March copyediting project. It seems there hasn't been any effort to add additional sources. Adam - can you let me know if you plan to add some? Otherwise it should be nominated for deletion. Thanks! Arbor8 (talk) 21:59, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
