Thanks. I saw your special WikiProject Rivers is going on. Since I'm from Norway, and thus able to translate Norwegian articles about Norwegian rivers into English, I decided to contribute. Rana Niejta / article redirects[edit]

Hi, I was just reading the article you created back in October - Rana Niejta. Good job, by the way. For future reference, when you create an article about something that has more than one way of spelling the name, could you create redirects for the alternatives? See Wikipedia:Redirect for more details of what I mean. This way, people using the other spellings can find the article more easily, and also, there is less chance that duplicate articles will be created at the other spellings. Alternative names were added, since there are so many Saami dialects / languages. Living close to the Ume Saami area, I used their local pronouncement of this goddess. I'm not sure which of the name forms which should be considered as the «correct one». In fact, it seems to me that they all are! Before writing the article, I contacted one of the few remaining native speakers of Ume Sami, and they called her Rana Niejta. --Adamaisaka 23:07, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Selfors Church[edit]

The article Selfors Church has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:56, 17 November 2008 (UTC). It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve.
