The name Digiorgio[edit]

I noticed that you edit a lot of articles that share your username. One must assume that your work is well intentioned and helpful, but it is probably a good idea to make some statement on your userpage (currently blank) if there is the possibility of a conflict of interest. People get touchy about such things as self-promotion. Again, probably what you are doing is benign but some statement from you would be a very good idea.--Smokefoot (talk) 00:45, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

Sounds like there are some issues.
  • First,in general if you are interested in science, be aware that Wikipedia seeks citations to books, books moreso than reviews, and there is hardly any interest in primary literature (i.e. journals are rarely notable in Wikipedia standards, except for some discoveries). See WP:SECONDARY. Avoid citing yourself.
  • Second, it is very, very tricky to write about matters where you are personally involved or have an emotional stake. This is not Facebook or a blog. Good luck though.--Smokefoot (talk) 02:33, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
